To celebrate the first day of first grade, our family held a first grade flower ceremony. Each member of our family was given a wildfower. We each took a turn carrying our flower over a special path. At the end of the path, we placed our flower in the vase. This was to symbolize that we will all work together at our homeschool and we all play an important part in the love and learning at home.

Our story of loving and learning at home...
"Let them be little, 'cause they're only that way for a while. Give them hope, give them praise, give them love every day. Let them cry, let them giggle; let them sleep in the middle, oh, let them be little."
