We visited a nearby honey farm with our homeschool co-op this week. We were able to learn about how the bees make beeswax and honey. We talked to the beekeeper, saw him all suited up, and looked at his tools. We saw the bees, their hives, and the honeycombs they make. We also were able to press our fingers right into the honeycomb and pull out the honey to try. It was the freshest, most delicious honey we have ever tasted! We brought a jar of honey home with us too!

Our story of loving and learning at home...
"Let them be little, 'cause they're only that way for a while. Give them hope, give them praise, give them love every day. Let them cry, let them giggle; let them sleep in the middle, oh, let them be little."
