St. Patrick's Day at our house means lots of green and rainbows! We read the cutest story about a leprechaun looking for his pot of gold. The animals on the farm try to help the leprechaun by offering to share their "gold" with him. The rooster's gold is the sun. The hen's gold is her fuzzy yellow chicks. The duck's gold is the corn given to him by a little girls. The lamb's gold is the yellow daffodils. Each time the leprechaun says, "no, no, no! That may be gold to you but it is of no use to me!" Finally, the little girl reminds the leprechaun that the beautiful rainbow in the sky will lead him to his pot of gold.

Our story of loving and learning at home...
"Let them be little, 'cause they're only that way for a while. Give them hope, give them praise, give them love every day. Let them cry, let them giggle; let them sleep in the middle, oh, let them be little."
