Here are a couple of other summer sun projects we did to celebrate the first day of summer. Audrey wet felted yellow and red wool to make her very own homemade felt. She used this for the center of her sun necklace. Then she sewed it to the orange felt while adding little beads for extra sparkle. Audrey also created suns out of clay and painted them. All of our summer sun projects went very well with our story for the week; The Sun Egg by Elsa Beskow.

Our story of loving and learning at home...
"Let them be little, 'cause they're only that way for a while. Give them hope, give them praise, give them love every day. Let them cry, let them giggle; let them sleep in the middle, oh, let them be little."
